For anyone visiting Seattle, in Washington State, going to Chihuly Garden and Glass is a must-do.

There you will be able to contemplate some of the most impressive Dale Chihuly’s works of glass.

Chihuly has been blowing glass for almost all his life, since he learned the craft in 1961. Today he has become one of the most recognized artists at the international level, and a key influence in Seattle’s active arty-glass production, second only to Venice when it comes to Murano.

I’m not going to tell his story, because it has been told way better y himself. I would just suggest the visit, or checking out his work.

I learned that blowing glass is no easy task. The artist is never certain about the success of the piece until the very end of it, because it can break at any point of the process. On top of that, watching the artist while creating the amazing colors and shapes is a surreal scene.
